FRIENDAVERSAY.

     So today Maddie and I celebrated our friendaversay :D haha. Four years strong! We were so cute. I went to her house, and we had a little tea party. We made our selves look presentable, and we sat in the fancy dining room by the window and had our own little circle table. We used her mom's china teacups that she got at her wedding or something, and we had a bunch of pastries on a silver platter (literally). Chai tea and red velvet cupcakes. Yesss! We thought it was only right for us to put on some classical music, all though we had no idea what station it was on. Once we figured it out, the Harry Potter soundtrack was on smh. It was kinda nice though. I guess it was supposed to be in essence of Halloween, but it reminded us of Christmas time (since there is freaking snow on the ground!) Naturally we both wanted to fly on broomsticks.
     So anyways, we exchanged our gifts, and then we marched to the piano (not really, we just walked lol). She learned how to play some songs on it, so we sang along. Our favorites include The Chain by Ingrid Michaelson and Someone Like You by Adele. It was a perfect friendaversay, I will be sure and post some pictures. Everyone needs to have a friendaversay with someone! It's the best thing ever. We've decided to have tea parties more often....like daily. Ok maybe weekly :)

Countdown.

Reasons why I love this video:

1) It's very mod. Twiggy inspired perhaps? Hmmm? 

2) Umm I'm sure American Apparel sponsored this video because basically all of the clothes are from there. I love the outfits though! 

3) That double winged liner she has on in the beginning

4) All of the bright colors!!! And how she keeps changing the background. It's. Awesome. 

5) Beyonce's hair is dark again like she has some sense. Her hair was getting too blond for me. haha

5) The dance studio and all of the beautiful dancer outfits. I love the way dancers dress! It's so nonchalant. You know, the leg warmers, the layered tights, the leos with plunging necklines, and of course the ballerina bun. It brings back great memories.

Seeing Dots.

I really want to start painting my nails every week or something. Or at least when they start chipping, because that's my biggest pet peeve. Well maybe not biggest, but it's up there. I also want to start doing more designs instead of being so plain all the time. I saw this little design in a Top shop catalog, I really liked it, so I decided to try it. It's super easy and I've already gotten lots of compliments so try it! Use any colors you want.

Simplicity

I love simple outfits. I have to remind myself sometimes that everything doesn't have to be super fancy....although I do love my sparkles and leopard print. Remember the basics people.
P.S- I never wear my hair like this anymore! I should start again....should I?
